I've recently taken to flipping the hardware aeroplane mode switch on the side of the laptop before docking.

@neil@mastodon.neilzone.co.uk @scudderfish@ohai.social I had problems with doing this in NM. The switchover to ethernet only worked perfectly when docked but it completely lost the default route.

My 25th visit to Hafan Pwllheli #parkrun this bright, still, cold winter's morning, the day after the storm cut off our electric supply for the best part of 11 hours.

I finished 4th, my best ever finishing position. I'll never achieve that again unless there are fewer than the 15 people who took part today.
