@palin if an app like this is useful/helpful, I wonder if there's an opportunity for a zero-trust, anonymized, end to end encrypted solution hosted/based somewhere privacy friendly (Switzerland seems to be the de facto choice). Need to make sure any payment (one off, or subscription) also can't be tied to the account.

OMG! I am not a woman, if I was there is no fking way I would answer the questions they are asking. I don't give a sht what benefit they claim they will provide, giving this information to a phone app is incredibly risky. Their user license tells you they will collect your data and snoop on you outside the app. NO! As a 60+ man let them try tracking my periods, and helping me understand them, but there is NO WAY you should tell them about yours. Please don't.

@palin I realize this is a bit of fun, but I'll be the no fun security person and point out that this does, in fact, not help privacy or safety of anybody.

Chaotic/troll usage is easily filtered, and you add surveillance software to your phone (which they capitalize on no matter your use or intent).

But most importantly - any time spent "trolling" is lost forever.

Spend that time advocating privacy and human friendly alternatives instead.

@palin @DukeDuke As a data person who works with data analysts and data scientists, along with platform engineers, you don’t want chaotic data. Outliers are easy to filter out. And, besides, individual users can be tracked anyway.

You want believable data. Something that shouldn’t be obviously filtered out.

Work with the women in your life on how to do this.
