Apparently some of #BlackTwitter is migrating to Threads.
This should be seen as an indictment of Mastodon, but some folks on here will adamantly refuse to understand the flaws, or accept any suggestions to improve #ContentModeration, because the lily white liberal / progressive bubble is just so comfortable.

For non-Threads users opening Threads posts in Ivory app, the default open action is…to the Meta app?
That is an existential risk to the non-Threads Mastodon clients.
Do you know if it is technically feasible to open a Threads post and stay in Ivory?

Is it possible for the app to open links to Threads posts (which are federated) inside the Ivory app, as opposed to launching Threads?
If not, this seems like a dark design pattern and would explain a lot about the Meta product strategy.
