It's been a pleasure watching it come together.

It's great when more platforms enter the #Fediverse, esp a project like OSSN.

Esp awesome since OSSN is installable in so many PHP hosting control panels, like CPANEL's Softaculous. It's like it is opening the Fediverse to a entirely new class of self-hosters.

I've been getting a lot of Mastodon sidekiq errors: ActivityPub:ProcessingWorker "ActiveRecord::StatementInvalid: PG::CardinalityViolation: ERROR: ON CONFLICT DO UPDATE command cannot affect row a second time HINT: Ensure that no rows proposed for insertion within the same command..."

It always comes back to a post that is from "snac/2.71"

The specific argument starts out with:

post ID (I think), "{\n \"@context\": \"https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams\",\n \"type\": \"Update\",\n \"id\".....redacted

Is there any rhyme or reason in the way Mastodon comes up with the ID of a post? Any way to decode part of it? A link to docs about it? I'm still looking for docs about it.

For one post, I notice part of the ID is the same on my server (image 1) and the original server (image 2).

I wish there was a date portion so we could look and see the month, year and day of a post in there with the rest of the, probably randomized or generated by the database, ID. #MastoAdmin #mastoDev

I think I am going to start doing HashTagGames from my WordPress blog at https://HashtagGames.Online

Anyone know how I can upload my @hashtaggames posts from the archive as WordPress posts without spamming the Fediverse?

I don't want a couple 1000's post hitting servers at once. #WordPress #ActivityPub

I'd really like to have them there as an archive

Maybe I can turn AP off, do my import then reactivate WordPress AP plugin?

What are #MastoAdmin's going to do to educate their users of the new features V4.2.0 brings? Using the 'Announcement' feature?

One thing I like about Mastodon 4.2.0 is the 'Exclusive Lists' feature.

Any post that appears in an exclusive list should not appear in your home timeline. This feature is possible on all lists, and can turned on/off on demand.

#FlipBoard's #Android App (beta) now supports #Pixelfed.

I really like using @Flipboard as a Mastodon client, flipping from toot to toot post. Lots of features.

Twitter evicted for non-payment of rent in Boulder, CO. Sheriff ordered to evict.

#Twitter owes three months’ rent to its Boulder landlord, and a judge has signed off on evicting the tech giant from its office there

The judge issued an order that the sheriff should assist in the eviction of Twitter within the next 49 days — i.e. before the end of July

More than 150 staff work there.

The case number is 2023CV30342 in Boulder District Court.
