You can write an excerpt in WordPress and this will be used as summary (and there are even more possibilities). I simply have not done that on the ActivityPub.blog, that is why it fell back to the auto generated one. It is also possible to use kind of a templating engine to "design" your own output for the fediverse. Long story short: I think this is not a general WordPress issue, but me not properly using the tools I built 🫣 |
