@jackyan Never done this for me. Maybe a Windows thing?

@phil_stevens @jackyan definitely a windows thing. This does not happen in Linux or Mac. Most likely something on your system is deleting that DLL. An antivirus or something

@nickapos @phil_stevens That was their theory as well so I added Vivaldi to the antivirus exceptions. The file returns by itself. I just have to keep at it. Happens to all Chromium browsers for me since a month or so ago.

@phil_stevens Itʼll be Google. All the Chromium-based browsers do it now on my computer. I only see it happen with Vivaldi more as itʼs my daily driver.
Is your Vivaldi Sync working? Mine died a week or so ago (Android and Windows).

Vivaldi

@jackyan

We think it's your over-active antivirus causing the issue. So check its settings again.

Regarding Sync. Yes, we're having issues with it and we're working on a fix. You can
keep an eye on status and updates on vivaldistatus.com.

@Vivaldi Itʼs stock Avira (paid) but Vivaldi is in the exceptions. I will look again. Thank you for confirming there are Sync issues.
