Update on 's inability to filter languages despite its filter settings:

It seems to be working as expected but their expectations does seem to differ from my expectation as well as many others. I'd like to have languages filtered everywhere.

I assume, this could be two topics:

* Filtering on the set language in a post

* Auto-detect a language from a given content

This post should be sent with language set to "EN".

@nick Of course, there are those two different topics.

But they're related by topic and do address the UX of Mastodon.

And yes, your message was sent in EN because my reply did have "EN" as language set because of the inheritance when replying.
