I just watched a brief intro video to #RethinkDNS. Now I wonder if this has any substantial benefit if I'm using #GrapheneOS on #Android already.
I can disable network permissions with GOS (can I limit this to specific LANs/WiFis only with rethink?), GOS filters ads and I can choose my DNS resolver.
Opinions?

#RethinkDNS blocks the tracker traffic.
The filter lists are fully configurable.
For example, I have blocked all traffic which goes to Facebook and meta.
I don't believe that #Grapheneos does this kind of privacy blocking.

Correct. Rethink isn't needed if Graphene's built-in restrictions work for you.
Rethink can do a lot more than restrict internet-bound traffic however. For instance, split-tunnel apps across multiple WireGuard upstreams, or use ODoH for DNS, or employ (DPI) censorship bypass techniques popularized by Geneva (censorship.ai).
