I am a postdoctoral researcher from #Basel, #Switzerland! (originally from #Munich in #Germany, though). My research is based both in #Egyptology (the one with the hieroglyphs) and #ComputerScience (especially #machineLearning and #artificialIntelligence). And anything else in the field of (handwritten, historical) document analysis.
Otherwise, I have a very broad range of interests and hobbies: #music (piano, singing, guitar), #art (drawing), #writing, #politics, #videogames, #plants, #penAndPaper #RPGs, and probably much more.

Föderation EN Do 10.08.2023 08:30:23 So from what I got so far, the fediverse has a very... interesting dynamic. I now know that I follow too many people, too few people, the wrong people and people in general which is wrong, I should go for hashtags. I also learnt that this is a social platform, but the main social interaction is lurking and handing out likes, an interaction where the other one never quite knows whether it's applause or just a "have read" marking. I'm fascinated. |
