@sandlapper37 Armed guards and active shooter drills are the final, and often weakest, link in the chain that protects against an atrocity.

Every “hey, how are you doing, you seem down?” conversation, access to healthy media that doesn’t conflate power and control and violence, physically and emotionally present caring, adult figures, access to good mental health care: those do so much more to reach people before they give up.
