Interesting, which client is including the boosting person as standard in a reply to a boosted post? Or are people manually adding the booster into the mentions?

@sarajw It's probably multiple ones. Ivory does this and that's what I use when I'm not directly on the website.

@sysop408 I've noticed it happening for a couple of weeks, feels new

@sarajw I can confirm it’s neither the official web client nor the Tusky Android app.
I can’t imagine people manually mentioning the booster. Maybe it’s the official Android/iOS apps?

@mvsde not the official android app unless mine is an update or two behind

@sarajw I think Ivory and Mona.

@sarajw Mona does this (Just tested), I didn't know it could do this though, I've never tried to reply to the person boosting a post before, I usually click on the boosted post to open it directly 🤔

@sarajw Ivory (iOS) does this.

@sarajw Ivory has always done this, IIRC—inherited from standard Twitter behavior since it's a spinoff of the Tweetbot codebase.

@sarajw Ivory does it but then selects the boosting username so you can instantly remove it, which is an interesting compromise
