(I've found a few small ones, and a few new ones, but not a few small new-enough-to-work-with-embedded-Swift ones.)

The bespoke 16x16 pixel tree topper is back at our house this year, for its 4th season.

It’s a WS2812b (#neopixel) based matrix powered by custom #micropython firmware on #ESP32.

This year it features a new 3D printed case, and a fresh #iOS app for drawing on it, locally.

Having trouble combining the letters elegantly, but there must be a portmanteau for the sounds in “ennui” and “week”, right?

Just went to share (externally to this platform) a post from @anildash , which was actually a repost from Threads, and copying the URL was mostly transparent (at least in my client, here, Mona).

I didn’t even really notice that it was Threads in this feed.

Pretty interesting that the federation (even if imperfect) is *happening*.
