Here in Poland it's only allowed to fire fireworks on 31st of December and 1st of January, and while I haven't heard of any malicious uses of fireworks, it quickly gets old when people don't even bother to wait until midnight and fire the fireworks at like 8 PM because they want to go to bed early or sth...

and it's like, everyone has a single boring pack of fireworks and fires it at a random time during the evening.

@stux @wolf480pl except it was cancelled 4 out of the last 4 times here, because of bad weather. A silent NYE, now that's something I never knew I hated.
