Is that a thing in NL ?

I remember in the US hearing people scream at the top of their lungs was ... normal, but in France it is almost unheard of, I think 2 cases I heard in 10 years living here.

Coming back as in primarily threatening you or "I do what I want I can come back whenever I feel like it"

Now that I think of it, most of the fights I've been in was because other people where in an unfair-fight and I chose a side

I guess because since the Netherlands is relatively safe where one can do this without getting killed

One of the things that frustrates me a lot are those videos where something bad is happening to someone and people are just moving alone

I understand it's not safe to offer help in any country but it still hurts to see

@stux Hearts to you for helping her and stepping in. Has she reached out for help? I used to do volunteer work for legal aid for domestic violence. It's very complicated. Especially where there's a child involved. :( Be safe and hearts to you again.

@stux custody disputes where one partner is obsessed and violent are awful, and it's hard to know if intervening helps. Had something like that happen many years ago where one of my neighbors was trapped in the parking lot with her kid while her ex screamed at her. I ran him off and he came back a few nights later, pounding at her door wanting to be let in. Called the cops and stood there filming until he ran off. A few days later, he kidnapped the child. Eventually she got the kid back but :-(
