@Sarahp We need a viable alternative to Facebook. Mastodon and Bsky are great, but FB is the one I can't seem to get folks off of.

@syndical @Sarahp MeWe is a good platform. Easy to use, Facebook based app. For some reason it's 150th in app social downloads on Google Play, but there are more users than that ranking suggests.

@syndical @Sarahp nevertheless not enough users for me to switch over. But there's nothing wrong with the actual app, it looks just like Facebook.

I looked into MeWe but I read a couple articles that it's become a bastion of Qanon and conspiracy theories. It is the most FB-ish so far though. In several ways, I guess :P
