Wanting to encourage readers to follow me through RSS, what can I suggest? RSS aren't stand-alone in browsers any longer - I have a chrome extension but it relies on newsblur, feedly and co; thunderbird has a reader, but then? In their shoes I'd never create yet another account to read a blog! Let alone give away my e-mail. Suggestions? @FediTips - #fediverse #rss #FollowerPower #AskFedi

@pfefferle - #activitypub bug: when using the "reply to" bookmarklet, at beginning of #WordPress post, an unpleasant output for screen readers appears - "↬mastodon.uno/@uaar/113039993829553640"
For #fediverse newbies it's not easy to figure it is a post's reply! It should give some output. Such as: "this post comes in reply to [mention] 's post and then a readable text such as "view original conversation" and text could be customizable from "federated reply" block's settings. You follow me?

@network @pfefferle Involving @informapirata in the discussion about post formats too, we were just talking about this in the Italian instance some minutes ago, we talked about how differently various #fediverse platforms treat posts and Informapirata said "I've decided to post just title and excerpt from #WordPress otherwise Mastodon messes up text and pics". And I replied "I'm in touch with Matthias Pfefferle to collect feedbacks about formats and improve it"

@network @pfefferle it does not work as expected, the part "this is the content..." shouldn't be here (it is UNDER the "read more" block).

Discovered annoying bug on #activitypub plugin: when you use #JetPack native mobile app to publish a post into your #WordPress site, hitting "publish" from there does not post the new article to #fediverse while it works regularly when you use the app to build the draft, then finalize publication through website.

Happy to see that my translations for #activitypub #WordPress plugin have been approved and I'm now trying to cover the readme file, in order to have plugin description translated as well. My 2 cents to help people discover #fediverse - I can't deny I sometimes feel discouraged, having just a couple followers on blog's profile but patience rewards me, I can't be in a rush.

I'm the tech-lady for this blog and I am playing with it - I wanted to mention @pfefferle and @_elena in the excerpt but it didn't work. And I'm not sure if [ap_content] accepts the "length" parameter. I might upload a feature request some day! I want superpowers on my blog as well! I must make @pfefferle laugh a little bit: I wondered why I just saw my authors' posts and not the whole blog's, but there was someone boosting every post instantly. It was simply the blog sharing the author's post as it's its own! I really laugh a little and I wanted #activitypub dev to have fun of my #WordPress adventures too.

#activitypub installed on my #wordpress but it seems I can't follow users. The Enable Mastodon Apps #plugin works but I had to modify my customized 404 handler not to redirect to my pages when encountering oauth requests (yes, thanks GPT, I'm not a coder). But now if I try to interact through my blog account replying to other #fediverse users, it seems not to work. Had to uninstall Friends plugin by @alex as it caused slowed my site down Mention @pfefferle

@pfefferle in the #ActivityPub I found a very serious #accessibility issue, impossible to set up accounts like this! Users table. You just set graphic signs to indicate if a user is activitypub-enabled or not! They should be labelled properly "activitypub enabled" "activitypub disabled"!
