When I bring these topics up, all. people. EVER. want. to. do. is. make. excuses!

People wonder in amazement how fedi ended up being 85% Linux enthusiasts, and its become clear to me this is why. Its a bunch of privileged people who like to tinker and feel no sense of urgency in making decentralized systems usable for the masses.

If its not about the masses, then its not only elitist... but there is also NO POINT TO IT!

I think fediverse active users deflating apace under these conditions, with people leaving Meta services in droves, is the final proof that the Mastodon brand is toast.

But the browser syndicate is not interested in the fedi.
If google would make ActivityPub a trusted protocol, the US president Musk-Trump will be very angry.

It is not that we did not talk with the browser developers.
They just continue their ignorance.
That is the sad reality of the browser syndicate today.
