I really need to stop clicking "show anyway"

Does anyone happen to know what image processing #Pixelfed does when you upload photos? Hopefully it strips EXIF metadata, so you're not accidentally revealing location, but I'm wondering if it reduces the size, etc.

The whole Instagram thing passed me by, so I've never uploaded on the regular and no idea how I should edit my photos beforehand.

If you saw an offer which said "get a phone on us after 24 months", what do you interpret the deal to mean?

I have the answer from this particular company, which I can share later when my crushing disappointment with the usual bullshit subsides.
