@ivory Hi, I'd like to reiterate my request for a “jump to now" button in Ivory for iOS. Having to scroll up needlessly sucks empty my data plan.

Also, feature suggestion: If a reply to a post contains only a single Emoji, show it as an "emoji reaction” under the parent post, and add “emoji reaction" buttons on posts that post them as such a reply.

It'd be backwards-compatible, but at least for Ivory users (and any other clients that implement that in the future), it'd let them subtly reply.

@uliwitness @ivory Double-tapping the tab bar item is not what you're looking for?

@uliwitness @ivory In iOS apps if you’re in a scrolling list, tapping the top of the screen (eg next to the time) should scroll the list to the top. Does that work in Ivory? (Doesn’t help if NOW is at bottom of list)

@uliwitness Tapping the home button helps with first one.

@uliwitness Our current system is designed to remember your last read spot. We plan to give the user the option to choose in the future.

@ivory Good! I *want* it to remember my last read spot. Because otherwise I can't continue reading after a phone call or the like.

But when I come back after a day, I don’t want to have to scroll through all past messages just to get to "now", because that eats up my phone’s data volume to download messages I have already read elsewhere or decided I don't want to read.

So if e.g. double-tap on home icon actually scrolled to "now", that would be very useful to me.
