Lol, I've always thought #Vernissage or #Impressia is literally the only reason why I can bear and enjoy using #Pixelfed, the "official" web and mobile clients feel like school projects in comparison - I've always appreciated what they did in the backend/Fediverse ecosystem of things I suppose, but they're in no position to be so boastful about their "achievements" that's for sure. I've always thought that dude was strange, and they even have gotten irrationally mad/emotional w me before too for a simple misunderstanding (and apologised later, seems like that's a common theme). Have fun with Loops!

Hey @dansup - I know you are pretty busy with the launch of @loops but is there any word on when HEIC files will be able to uploaded to @pixelfed website (specifically on pixelfed.social)? I've got a backlog of photos from the year and my thumbs are tired of posting on my phone, LOL.

Is it just me or does the #Pixelfed app behave inconsistently? A lot of the time get a pic ready, type out the alt text and the caption. Hit “post” it says it’s doing stuff but then nothing gets posted…

Leaving me at, “Well I’m not doing all of that again.” Then I don’t go back to it for months.

#Loops ist eine Plattform im Fediverse für das Teilen von Kurzvideos. Loops wurde im Jahr 2024 vom Pixelfed-Entwickler Daniel Supernault vorgestellt. Wie auch #Pixelfed versteht Loops das Protokoll #ActivityPub.

Es ist vorgesehen, Loops als Open Source zu veröffentlichen, wenn das Projekt einen gewissen Reifegrad erreicht hat.

Mit Stand Dezember 2024 wird ActivityPub implementiert, ist aber noch nicht aktiv.
