Good human. But remember that you have a right to a decent living* out of this - don't martyr yourself unnecessarily. And the ability to provide for yourself from this will encourage others to do more of the same: some carrot involved.

(*: housing security, food security, resilience against financial drought, good health care, the ability to both have and enjoy leisure time, provision for comfort in old age, charitable giving as you see fit. Obviously, all else is frippery and non-essential.)
