However, in some situations and for some purposes you may prefer to use multiple accounts. Föderation DE Sa 17.05.2025 21:40:01 @FediTips es kann mehre Gründe geben, mehre Konten im Fediverse zu nutzen, zum Beispiel wenn man einen Pixelfed und einen Mastodon oder einen Friendica Konto nutzt, mit dem man unterschiedliche Plattformen nutzen kann. Oder man hat jeweils einen Mastodon Account auf unterschiedlichen Instanzen, falls eine Instanz ausfällt. Oder man möchte einfach mal eine neue Plattform ausprobieren, zum Beispiel Hubzilla. |

Föderation EN Sa 17.05.2025 21:43:54 If using multiple accounts on one instance, Firefox Multi-Account Containers allows using all of those at once. I believe my instance does not have an official account switcher. Another reason I have multiple accounts is because I follow Japanese artists, who tend to be on instances that tend to have visibility limited by some instances. And even if they aren't, I still prefer to use a Misskey or Sharkey account so I can better engage with the reactions feature on those instances. |
