Flickr is restricting downloading your photos in "original or large sizes" starting May 15th if you have a FREE account there. Just in case you want to move your photos to a service that will let you have them back as you uploaded them.

@LikeItOrLumpIt yeah it sucks, lost some longtime friends there who had free accounts. I use it to back up about 18 years of images so pay the annual fee.

@LikeItOrLumpIt My understanding is that even on a free account, you can still get the originals back via the Download Your Data feature (which downloads all of them at once). This change is about the ability to download individual originals via the Available Sizes feature.
