fedi links are:

- safe: they respect blocks by default. what's public is public, but it's an extra step vs opening the webpage. worry less about receiving or creating harassment.
- effective: they work even if the user/post isn't visible on the web, as long as you're not blocked. they do not leak the existence of private posts.

- compatible: this is where we need you! ask fedi and *non-fedi* apps to add support!
