Föderation EN Mo 18.11.2024 13:22:47 Mastodon safety: do NOT answer personal questions in post replies -- where you live, who you live with, what you do, where you go, etc. -- it might be the beginning of a scam. I've seen several of these in the past weeks. Replies that seem out of place, inordinately familiar or friendly, use of alluring profile photos, questions not really related or relevant to the posting. Be on guard for red flags like these. Report, mute, and block suspected scam attempts. |

A cursory search indicates this is to prevent spamming, although I haven't quite figured that bit out yet. Does anyone have some insight into this limit? A quality link would be nice. Thanks! |

Föderation EN Do 28.03.2024 01:17:16 The words "under God" were added to the US Pledge of Allegiance in 1954, during the Cold War, under the Eisenhower administration, to mark a distinction between the USA and so-called 'godless' communism of the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China. When people today quote "one nation, under God" as evidence that the founders of this country created a Christian Nationalist country, they are repeating historical inaccuracies. You are welcome to correct them. |

Baton Rouge cops ran an unmarked warehouse for conducting torture, unwarranted body cavity searches, and more. It was discovered when one officer left his body camera on. Then they tried to cover it up. The whole saying is "one bad apple spoils the barrel." #ACAB |
