It seems to me that the option to activate the ActivityPub feature in (.com) by clicking "Join the Fediverse" has disappeared. Or I can't find it. Or does this mean that you can no longer federate a WordPress (.com) blog on the free plan?

@acambronero @pfefferle @WordPress@chirp.social @wordpress@a.gup.pe I don't think this is available on the free plan, I couldn't find the option a few months back at least.

@jarulf @acambronero @wordpress@chirp.social @wordpress@a.gup.pe it is still available for all plans, you can find it under Tools > Marketing > Connections wordpress.com/marketing/connec

@pfefferle @acambronero @WordPress@chirp.social @wordpress@a.gup.pe oh, that's great. I thought the only thing available on the free plan was the sharing plugin, similar to the ones for FB and insta, but not the one where your site becomes a full part of the Fediverse. I'll have to look into this again at work.

@pfefferle @jarulf Thanks! I have it enabled, but the posts aren't appearing in the Fediverse. I'll reconnect just in case.

@acambronero @jarulf if you share the URL with me, then I will have a look!?!

@pfefferle Sorry, it took a few hours to show up on Mastodon, but it's showing up now. Thanks so much for the help. I'm really grateful. The URL was acambronero.wordpress.com/2025
