The fediverse has really helped me through some of the darkest periods of my life, like when I came out as gay but couldn't tell anyone but you. Now you're helping me get through these tough times losing my dog. I owe so much to you, and will strive to be a more respectful and humble maintainer going forward. It sucks that it took this for me to rethink everything, but I will do better. It's the least I can do ❤️ |

When I intensly mourned the loss of our previous dog, i learned that the constant physical contact with the pet causes phyiscal effects. Which causes you to mourn the loss even deeper then you would at the loss of a grown up child. Coincidently we are today celebrating the 5th birtday of his successor
