Yes it is, you follow Pixelfed accounts just like any other account. You don't do anything special.

For example @Iancylkowski is a pixelfed account, try clicking on it and then following it.

Once you've followed it, the Pixelfed posts will show up in your feed.

A lot of the accounts you follow might look like Mastodon accounts but they're actually on other platforms like Pixelfed, PeerTube, BookWyrm, Friendica etc. They all show up in the feed.
