The bombing that killed esteemed poet and professor Refaat al-Areer was apparently a surgical strike, suggesting he was the target. https://euromedmonitor.org/en/article/6014 The apartment where Refaat & his family were sheltering was surgically bombed out of the entire building where it’s located, according to corroborated eyewitness & family accounts. This came after weeks of death threats that Refaat received online & by phone from Israeli accounts. We call for an immediate investigation into this apparently deliberate & targeted killing of a prominent Palestinian academic, writer, poet, & activist. his brother, one of his children, his sister & 3 of her children, & a neighbor were also killed. |

The result was under the 1500char limit in the image editor screen, but when I hover over the image on my server, I notice that the alttxt is truncated as if a char limit was exceeded. Is this a bug? just a limit on my server? will vision impaired people with alttxt readers experience the same truncation? screenshots included of picture edit pop up and of the resulting hover over on the post. and this is the actual post: https://m.ai6yr.org/@exador23/111348850294692098 cc: @ai6yr

Föderation EN Fr 28.07.2023 22:00:45 What happens to the reach if you "reply" to a post but delete the '@' recipients? I would expect it to be visible to my followers with a grey reply symbol and "replied to NAME" at the top just like when I reply to one of my own posts to add to it. Is that what really happens though? Or is it still only visible in the thread without a boost. |
