We could do with much more enforcement of the 20 and 30mph speed limits in the Highlands, and Scotland generally. In England, there are lots and lots of speed cameras for urban streets. There are hardly any here.

An example: there is a long straight going through Roy Bridge. It is *very* common for vehicles to travel along this straight at 60mph. The limit is 30mph. Only points and fines will change this behaviour.

BTW it should also be 20mph limit, not 30mph.

@fitheach @ScottishGreens Looks like the classic village on a main road problem. Just a sign alone doesn't do much when the rest of the road looks like a trunk road. Cameras might help, but ideally roads like that would be changed to feel like you should slow down. Maybe narrow the road and widen the pavement, and put in some bumps
