today's rather exhausting job: digging up an overgrown mess of grass to prep it for something decidedly less plain-boring-lawn. whoever put it down beforehand apparently used it as a rubble dump because I found everything from roof tiles to rebar in here.

didn't quite finish because that corner has been baking in the sun all day and has the worst combo of matted grass roots and subsurface rubble and stones, and I'm fully out of energy. time for a shower and some grub.
