It's one of the things about Mastodon that simply doesn't make sense. Plus the migration from what I understand doesn't preserve followers, etc.? If I'm wrong please correct me. |

If there's any criticism in the post, it's only meant to be towards the people who run the server and not the server's members. With migration, you preserve all your followers and follows.
