@kottke There's still all that smoking😉

Föderation EN Mi 05.06.2024 22:33:47

@kottke makes me want to move back there.

@kottke Hallo @Duesseldorf, wann machen wir das nach?

Föderation EN Mi 05.06.2024 23:20:50

@kottke The next push is to add an extensive, clean-powered public transportation network for those who can't walk or bike across the entire city. How's the metro doing in that regard?

Föderation EN Do 06.06.2024 00:24:16

@kottke Paris is mainly a sea of traffic with some parks around it.

Föderation EN Do 06.06.2024 01:22:13

@kottke

I'd just be happy with sidewalks that didn't abruptly end when the road and neighborhood keep on going.

Föderation EN Do 06.06.2024 02:29:57

@kottke They are showing us how it is done. We are afraid of the cost and offending our ruling class.

@kottke that’s better than the 70s. My dad lived in a western suburb. The rain used to bleach the color out of rose petals!

@kottke I've been to Paris last week, after I had read on here so much about how much the traffic has gotten reduced. Let me tell you: This is absolutely not visible. But on the overcrowded crossings you now as a pedestrian also have the great option to be also run over by several cyclist instead only by the many cars.

Föderation DE Do 06.06.2024 10:31:50

@FrauZeitlos @kottke thought so as well, it's a great start, but still long way to go.

Föderation EN Do 06.06.2024 08:42:36

@kottke Berlin could never.

Föderation EN Do 06.06.2024 11:27:48

@kottke @siracusa Unlikely to happen in Boston. Too many authorities, commissions, and lawyers.

Föderation EN Do 06.06.2024 14:54:10

@kottke I am sure it is quieter too.

Föderation EN Do 06.06.2024 15:00:30

@kottke Rome would be another city that would be 10 times better (for living and exploring) with this change.

Föderation EN Fr 07.06.2024 00:00:37
