Just think slower, experience slower, and two days go by in the time that feels like one. |

Slow your walking pace, take longer reading the pages of a book. Soon, the world would seem to be speeding by while you are running at normal subjective speed. |

If the entire universe went forward in time twice as fast as "normal", there would be no way to tell. Nobody would know. |

Of those two things, it's much easier to change our subjective experience than to change the entire fucking universe. So, "time travel" is best effected by changing how you experience time. |

If the person you will be in 2040 were to travel back to 2025, and were to inhabit your body, what would they think and feel? Let those thoughts and feelings take you over, and guide your actions. (You need to remember to do this on the other side, in 2040, but only for a moment.) |

Föderation EN So 09.02.2025 19:44:45 @mcc I was just thinking this morning about a time machine attached to an alarm clock, where you hit snooze and instead of you and the whole world advancing by 10 minutes before the alarm goes off again, you advance by 10 minutes relative to the world - you get 10 minutes to sleep without time advancing around you so the alarm never appears to pause. |
