People now trust 'information' coming from black box algorithms controlled by just a few companies, as though they have "looked it up" somewhere,

but also we can copy/paste relevant code snippets, with some amount of success! so it's great, actually! ✨

Default font size in dev tools is too small for me, and way too small for presenting. But no worries, just focus the panel and cmd+ a few times! It's all web stuff in there.

Firefox & Safari & Chrome will remember those zoom settings if I open the dev tools again later. Yay!

But @Vivaldi resets the zoom every time?! Why?

I was excited about Vivaldi having a built in RSS reader, but I really don't like it being part of the mail app.

I don't want more things in an inbox I have to maintain. I want a feed I can casually browse when there's time. Then I want a way of bookmarking or sharing.

That's it. No read/unread. No folders. No AI actions. What are "boards"? And what does Feedly think I'm doing that I need to "create a team newsletter"??

So much software just makes me tired.

For the last 4 years, I got to spend most of my time on #CSS specs. I had a lead role in cascade layers, container queries, & scope (all shipping) – now responsive type & mixins/functions.

I hope to keep at it, but this is open-source work, and (like many others) my funding was suddenly cut this year. So I’m looking for sponsors.
