At today's @fossandcrafts Hack & Craft I'll be working on pants!

So far I've made a bunch of pajama pants, a pair light denim jeans, and a pair of courdoroy pants. But I'm still not happy about my winter wardrobe selection so I'm testing the limits of what I can do on my non-industrial machines. I've got a heavier weight denim, a twill, and a cotton duck cloth.

At today's @fossandcrafts Hack & Craft, I'll be working on making pants. I've got a pair of leggings that just need the waistband and hems done, a pair of pajama pants that are cut out and ready to sew, and I'm hoping to get a pair of corduroy slacks drafted and cut out before H&C starts!

At today's @fossandcrafts Hack & Craft I'll be working on making clothes!

Pictured: me wearing 100% clothing I made (the shirt, pants, and underwear [not visible] I made last weekend, the socks and bra I had already. Since I apparently have to make all of my wardrobe now, I've got a pretty solid pattern for this variation on a tunic-style tee-shirt and can knock one out in a bit over an hour!

I'm Morgan Lemmer-Webber, I'm interested in the social history of women and textile production in the Roman Empire.

I do most imaginable textile crafts. Right now I'm making a lot of clothes due to an allergy to synthetic fabrics. Expect lots of posts about making socks and other garments.
