Hi @pfefferle I think there's something wrong with the HTML cleanup in the import from notiz.blog, see attached screenshot of how notiz.blog/2025/02/26/ein-biss appears here.

@oblomov where do you read that?

Föderation EN Mi 26.02.2025 14:47:41

@pfefferle it's how it appears on my Mastodon

Föderation EN Mi 26.02.2025 14:49:47

@oblomov that is wild... it shows totally fine on all the instances I have test accounts on!

@pfefferle there's something very weird going on. If I try to open the link directly it tries to download a .bin file? I have no idea what is happening

Föderation EN Mi 26.02.2025 14:55:34

@oblomov what 😱

are we talking about sociale.network?

Föderation EN Mi 26.02.2025 15:12:56

@pfefferle OK the .bin thing seemed to be an artifact of the mobile I was using when replying to you with the previous comment (I was using Tusky, clicked on the link, which opened Firefox, which did the weird .bin download thing). On the PWA, the blog page opens correctly, but shows the HTML tags for the mentions. I have another account on fediscience.org and there it shows correctly, so this may be an issue with the HTML scrub on sociale.network

Ping @gubi who is an admin here.

@oblomov @pfefferle

Same behavior on sociale.network and mastodon.bida.im, and the blog page DOES NOT open correctly, at least not from the link you mentioned (see screenshot)

@gubi @pfefferle

Interesting. Both sociale.network and mastodon.bida.im are on the 4.2 branch (4.2.15 and 4.2.12 respectively), so maybe it's something with the scrubber in 4.2.x?

@oblomov @gubi it seems that this was the version that does not support HTML in the summary! 🤔
