Why is it that I can't do a search for words on Post? Only hashtag search works.

Is this a limitation on the server I'm on?
I'm using the Mastodon android app.

Sometimes I see posts doubled. Is this an app issue? Or a bad setting on my part?

I'm new to the fediverse and I'd like to understand better what it means when a server defederates @threads.net. I'd like to follow specific accounts that are currently on threads, without having to deal with all the trash that will come up in the comments from that account. Is this possible? To whitelist specific accounts and block all the rest?
