@fixionauta @kaleb this should be fixed since weeks if not month! The current version supports alt texts for the block editor and for the classic editor when you have an actual version of WordPress. But it is best supported in the block editor.

@pfefferle @kaleb Heck, still not working on my site: https://fixionauta.net/2024/04/12/71689/ (first image alt-text was added in editor, second image alt-text added in Media) Could be a glitch on my Mastodon instance? I'll do a test later...

@fixionauta @kaleb The alt text is added via "name" to the attachment. You can check what source the plugin sends by adding `?activitypub` at the end of your posts URL. For example https://fixionauta.net/2024/04/12/71689/?activitypub
And there I see both alt texts!
