Just like #Tusky, #Pachli also can't handle long toots! The composer just blanks out, after a certain amount of "shouldn't-be-too-many" characters.
This might be a me-issue indeed.

@Tusky I might've found a bug. Pretty sure it's not a feature.
When I craft a long text, approaching the 500 char limit, the text becomes invisible. It's still there, I can interact with it, but it's the same colour as the background.
It's reproducible by deleting a character and typing it again.
