SNCF and DB will run a pair of direct daily daytime trains between Paris and Berlin, with a travel time of 8h, 2nd class ticket is supposed to be 60 EUR

SNCF Voyageurs and @DB_Bahn will run a high-speed ICE train to serve Paris Gare de l'Est, Strasbourg, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt South and Berlin in almost 8 hours. Reservations will open on October 16. @ahoernchen @rail_ This. The train-tracks are so broken that trains have to slow down in countless places.
It’s not been maintained properly for years… or better decades- I guess thats not so common knowledge outside of germany …
