@trunksapp

There still seem to be some issues with media in feeds (even after applying the latest beta update). This, for example:

trunks.social/status/c.im/@noe

The text appears, but I just see a rotating arrow in place of the media.

Following this latest update, media have started auto-playing in my feed, which did not happen before. Help! How do I stop that?

@trunksapp

I am still seeing groups of posts duplicated in my feed even though there are no new replies and even though none has been boosted.

I have conversation grouping and context fetching enabled.

Any idea what causes this?

Well, the bad news is that my migration from neurodifferent.me to this account didn't work at all. Still no word from or about @squish and the server still isn't sending anything to the outside world (which is probably why the migration didn't work). Unfortunately that means that even with the people who have now followed this account, I've lost over two-thirds of my followers.

I'm not too obsessed with followers. I only had 120-odd and most of my interactions come from the various autistic hashtags and groups. Still, it is annoying.

The good news is that I've logged in to the old neurodifferent.me account and removed the "redirect" which effectively undoes the migration and restores that account to normal. I still have all of my followers there. After 30 days (if connectivity has been restored at that stage), I can attempt the migration again.

I'm not sure, though, if doing that merges with, or overwrites, my existing followers and follows lists on here. Anyone know the answer to that? I'll mention @Gargron in case he can give me the definitive answer.
