Hello from a new instance. 👋

I did some thinking over the weekend. I decided against very small instances because of the technical problems associated with them, I also didn't want to go for something like mastodon.social because the decentralization aspect of #Fediverse is important to me.

In the end I decided for social.vivaldi.net. Not too big, not too small, data located in Europe, professionally run, moderation seems to be reasonable, I was able to reconnect with all my lost contacts. And last, but not least I share values with the people behind @Vivaldi. It's a bit of a reunion for me because I used to be active in the MyOpera community and that's where I started my blog.
