Our elected 'leaders' are letting this hostile takeover happen with barely a whimper in protest. If the president controls the executive in full with no oversight and can withhold and divert congressionally appropriated funding as desired with no regard for science, health, lives, or the law let's let Musk hack away at your jobs cause you sure as fuck aren't doing anything.

my father in law worked his whole life in meteorology data collection and modeling. the final leg of his career from which he retired just a few years ago was for the military doing strategic weather simulation.

my question (sorry, long intro): isn’t the NOAA data used by the pentagon for strategic/tactical military operations?

i’d ask my father in law directly but he’s in the hospital at the moment (and not expected to leave unfortunately).
