Your Local timeline (aka Live Feeds: This Server) doesn't show boosts.

Each account is connected to a specific server. If you want to sign in on a different account, you need to sign in on that account's server.

You need to sign in on your Pixelfed account's server if you want to access that account.

Mastodon has a Lists feature which you can use to create mini-timelines with just some of the accounts you follow:

Do you mean a link where there's a bit of text instead of a web address? That's only possible on instances running certain types of non-Mastodon software, I think Friendica supports it for example? (More info on Friendica here: https://fedi.tips/friendica-a-flexible-fediverse-server-type-with-long-posts/)

There's no support for creating this kind of link on Mastodon or forks as far as I know, though they will display it within Mastodon if other types of instances post it.
