#Moshidon community: We are currently experimenting in @moshidon nightly with removing duplicate settings that can already be controlled from the system preferences. Specifically this time the haptic feedback/vibration setting.
Does your phone have an option to disable it in the system settings (called Touch feedback, usually found under Accessibility > Vibrations & Haptics)?
If not, please reply with your Android version and phone brand so we can take this into account, thanks!

@FineFindus @moshidon (Currently on Tusky because this is an accessibility issue for me; Tusky just hasn't jumped on the haptics bandwagon at all)

@project1enigma @moshidon Accessibility is definitely a blocker, this is more to check if is enough to readd only on Samsung below Android 13, or if other OEMs are also affected

@FineFindus @project1enigma I think it's better to just add it again

@FineFindus Nokia G21, Android 13. En Accesibilidad hay una opción llamada Vibración y tecnología táctil. Permite activar o desactivar la vibración para llamadas, notificaciones, alarmas, respuesta táctil y vibración del contenido multimedia. Espero sirva. 👍✨

@FineFindus @moshidon No. Accessibility menu has a lot of possibilities to disable haptic.
Calls, keyboard, screen, etc.

My old LG Q6 on Android 8 has it, I didn't even notice anything was new bc I've disabled vibrations (and can set that for every app seperately, actually).

@Antimony @FineFindus @moshidon Weird. I have such settings only in specific apps like Bluesky, Gboard etc.

The differences between brands are enormous. I bought a Blackview tablet for my mother which allows you to tweak about as much as an iPad (almost nil).

@FineFindus @moshidon I have the option, and it's in the in the expected location. If it somehow helps, I'm on Android 12L, on a vanilla AOSP GSI ROM.
