FYI, my workflow on these: Build the ASCII art in Monodraw, then paste the result into "cool-retro-term" (a CRT terminal emulator), capture the screen using quicktime, then convert it to a gif in gifski.

@securewp thanks! It's funny you typed "ACII" because I just noticed that's how I spelled it when I created a new category in my WordPress posts. I just corrected it to "ASCII" a few minutes ago and corrected the URL slug too, but I bet I probably broke some links in the process. At least now I can feel comforted in knowing other folks type that too sometimes :)
