@pfefferle and why does my client say "user not found"? On "network". For the italian-only articles, under @ilmondopositivo it finds something but does not show today's posts on fediverse. The english says "no user found"

@talksina @ilmondopositivo@www.plusbrothers.net I have to check that! Do you maybe use a cache plugin? https://github.com/Automattic/wordpress-activitypub/wiki/Caching

@talksina I think w3 total cache does not work with ActivityPub, sorry. It does not support the required content negotiation 😥

@pfefferle Oops... It was the one suggested by my hosting (serverplan) - I will delete it; have you some activitypub compatible plugins? Hopefully deleting it does not cause damages

@talksina I have sent you a link earlier in this thread, but here is it again https://github.com/Automattic/wordpress-activitypub/wiki/Caching

@pfefferle Oh, my! I should have found the issue. Activitypub sees that all my posts come from the very old website where my profile went to "/author/ilmondopositivo" -the Italian profile-. Now, the new one has a new name "author/admin" and I don't even know why, because its handler is always "ilmondopositivo"! Why does it behave like that? It's obvious now that "/author/ilmondopositivo" points to a 404. It does not receive the proper name!
