Btw.: If it is about reminding yourself at a given time, you could just schedule a toot to yourself...

Mhmm, maybe the #Mastodon team should offer scheduled toots within their own Web UI... :-)
If you are going to consider installing an app, at least #Tusky (for #Android) includes this option. And it is Open Source and available also via F-Droid.
Other options should exist...
(I have also implemented this function in my own minimal Web UI for #Mastodon...)
